Kathmandu. Prakash Pathak, who threatened high-ranking officials including Premkumar Rai, head of the Abuse of Authority Investigation Commission, has been arrested from the Philippines and brought to Kathmandu. He was arrested with the help of Interpol. Pathak was brought to Nepal on Wednesday.
A diffusion notice was issued by Interpol against Kavreka Pathak. After the notice was issued, it was revealed that he was in the Philippines. The Philippine police arrested him and handed him over to the Nepal police through Interpol.
According to the police, Pathak, who claimed to be the president of a militant organization, had threatened officials including the authority chief Rai through the social networking site Facebook. He reached the Philippines via India and Indonesia.
