Prachanda-Madhav in Pokhara warned by businessmen not to hold street meetings

Pokhara. Businessmen of Pokhara have protested saying that holding meetings on the streets will affect their business. Nepali Communist Party (NCP) protested at Ekta Synagogue that the Nepali Communist Party (NCP) will hold Human Rights Chowk in Pokhara. They have protested with the demand of 'give and eat'. They came to the venue with leaflets and pamphlets saying that business was affected due to the meeting.

Chipledhunga Siddharth Chowk Business Committee President Durga Sunar alleged that the road was sold for some amount. He said that he had to face the recession when the program was given the road without the attention of the businessmen. The businessmen have also opposed Mayor Dhanraj Acharya.

Sunar said that he had already submitted a memorandum to the metropolis and asked them several times not to hold the program at that place, but there was no response. Party coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, co-convener Madhav Kumar Nepal and other top leaders will address the meeting.

After the businessmen protested, there was a discussion with the CPN workers for some time.

Businessmen have pulled the shutters of their businesses in protest against the program.
