Police active in economic crime control, 1 thousand 166 cases registered in one month

Kathmandu. District Police Complex Kathmandu has registered 1 thousand 166 cases during one month of Chait. There are 214 cases of heinous crimes, 46 cases related to women, children and senior citizens, 564 cases of economic crimes and 342 cases of other crimes. Similarly, Pawan Kumar Bhattarai, spokesperson of the premises, informed that the case has been registered with three people as defendants in two cases related to money laundering and claiming a sum equal to 227 million 96 thousand 488.

Likewise, the complex has also made seven people defendants in three cases in the month of March, effectively advancing the control of hundi transactions. In the said case, a claim of 1 crore 56 lakh has been made.
