Pokhara-Muglin road: 18 kilometers of the west section is black paper

Tanahun. The 18 km two-lane black road has been completed on the West Pokhara-Jamune section of the Pokhara-Muglin road. Thirty-eight kilometers of this stretch of road has been paved one-way for 37 kilometers so far. According to Sahansheela Kayastha, engineer of the section, the physical progress of the road has been 59.89 percent and the financial progress has been 47.80 percent. She said, '29.61 km two-way four lanes and 7.79 km one-way two lanes have been blacked out.'

In the current year, 14 km of black paper work has been done. Two culverts were constructed during the same period. 11 out of 12 bridges and 105 culverts in the western section have also been constructed. In urban areas, six-lane roads with 'service lanes' and four-lane roads will be built elsewhere. According to the project, there will be six lanes from Seti Bridge in Pokhara to Lower Gagangouda.
