Pedestrian killed in motorcycle collision, both driver and rear passenger arrested

Kathmandu. A pedestrian has died after being hit by a motorcycle in Doti. 68-year-old Taradevi Balayer of Shikhar Municipality-10 Bandungrisain died in a collision with a motorcycle numbered Suppr.01013p 12.

According to the district police office, Balayar was hit by a motorcycle going from Dhangadhi to Dipayal on the KI Singh highway while crossing the road. He was seriously injured and was taken to Dadeldhura Hospital Dadeldhura for further treatment.

The police said that he died during the treatment at 7 pm on Friday. According to the police, Mohan Bogti, 26 years old of Silagadi Municipality-2 Khullek, Doti Dipayal, the motorcycle driver, and Ram Bogti, 36 years old, who was riding behind the motorcycle, have been detained and are being investigated.
