Passed the procedure to remove Deuba and elect a new chairman
Kathmandu. The issue of electing a new party chairman, which was on the agenda of the second special convention of the Nepali Congress, was passed by the participants. As the term of office of the existing Central Working Committee elected from the 14th Convention of the Congress 2078 has expired, the procedure to dissolve it has been passed.
This matter mentioned in the procedure will be implemented after the special convention delegate passes it. The political and moral pressure on Speaker Deuba to remain in the leadership has increased when the representative who won him the presidency is standing in the opposition. Election of a new Central Working Committee is also on the agenda until the 15th Congress of the Nepali Congress is over.
