There is a chance of light rain and snowfall in a few places in the hilly and mountainous regions of the country this afternoon. In the Terai region, the weather will be generally clear, according to the department.
Similarly, it is expected to be partly cloudy in the Himalayan areas of the country tonight, while the weather is expected to remain mainly clear in most of the hilly and plain areas. However, there is a possibility of light rain and snowfall in a couple of places in the Himalayan region of Far West and Karnali Province, according to the Weather Forecasting Division.
