Pacey today on the issue of Ravi and image
Butwal. In the case against Ravi Lamichhane, Chairman of the Rashtriya Swatantra Party, the High Court of Butwal has decided to hear the case today. Ram Bahadur Kunwar, information officer of the High Court informed that the case of Lamichhane and the then owner of Gorkha Media Chabilal Joshi, who was imprisoned on charges of cooperative fraud and organized crime, was filed today.
This case was not allowed to be heard last week, and the debate was stopped twice before by the legal practitioners of Ravi's side.
Even though Lamichhane, who is in custody pending trial in the Butwal Supreme Cooperative fraud case, filed the wrong amount of his share of embezzlement in the cooperative, the bench of Rupandehi judge Narayan Sapkota of the district court refused to release Rupandehi on July 26.
