Overnight changes in the RASPA Constitution: Serious doubts after the addition of clauses from outside the closed session

Kathmandu. Serious disputes and doubts have arisen within the Rashtriya Swatantra Party (RSWP) regarding the constitution passed through the first convention held in Chitwan from June 7th to 12th.

The crisis of trust within the party has started to deepen after the fact that the constitution released by the party on its official website on Monday was revealed to be different from the draft submitted in the closed session of the convention.

In particular, the law published on the website has made the party chairman Ravi Lamichhane "all-powerful" and added strict legal provisions to keep the leader of the parliamentary party and current Prime Minister Balendra Shah "Balen" under control.
