One person arrested for burning the UML flag in Dang
Kathmandu. One person has been arrested for burning the CPN-UML flag in Dang. According to the police, 55-year-old Buddhi Bahadur Basnet of Kalakhola, Talsipur 7, Dang was arrested on the charge of burning the UML flag. The team of District Police Office, Dang arrested Basnet during the investigation.
The district police office, Dang, said that further investigation is being done by keeping him in custody. Similarly, the police say that they are looking for other people involved in the flag burning program. At around 9:30 pm on February 7th, the UML flag was burnt by the people attending the reception of Ravi Lamichhan, Chairman of Rashtriya Swatantra Party Raspwa at Birendra Chowk, Tulsipur 5. The UML has accused the RSVP workers of burning its flag. RSVP has clarified that its workers are not involved in this.
