One crore nine lakh 63 thousand ballot papers were printed in 88 constituencies of 37 districts

Kathmandu. The Election Commission has informed that the printing of votes in 88 constituencies of 37 districts for the House of Representatives election to be held on February 21 has been completed. Kul Bahadur Jisi, Assistant Spokesperson of the Commission informed that 10.963 thousand ballot papers have been printed till today.
So far Dolpa, Mugu, Jumla, Kalikot, Humla, Jajarkot, Dailekh, Rukum West, Salyan, Surkhet, Bajura, Acham, Bajhang, Doti, Dadeldhura, Darchula, Baitadi, Kailali, Kanchanpur, Panchthar, Ilam, Tehrathum, Bhojpur, Okhaldhunga, Sunsari, Taplejung, Sankhuwasabha, Ballot printing of 37 districts including Solukhumbu, Khotang, Dhankuta, Baglung, Gulmi, Jhapa, Gorkha, Myagdi, Parbat and Bardghat Susta West Nawalparasi has been completed. He said that the ballot papers of these districts have already been packed.
The printing of ballot papers for the election of members of the House of Representatives has started from January 22nd for the election to be held under the proportional election system and the first-come, first-served election system in Sanothimi. In the first phase, 10 lakh 98 thousand 200 sample ballot papers have been printed and sent to different districts, the commission said.
According to the Commission, the printing of ballots for the proportional election system started on January 26th, and 2830,000 ballots were printed on January 13th, packed and prepared for shipping.
