Kathmandu. On Sunday, the first day of the week, the stock market has risen normally. The NEPSE index increased by 4.45 points and closed at 2824 points. Although there were general fluctuations in the market throughout the day, the transaction amount remained high. Shares worth 14.32 billion rupees were bought and sold on Sunday, compared to a turnover of 14.55 billion rupees on the previous trading day.
Today, while the share price of 124 companies increased, 130 companies decreased, while the prices of 9 companies remained stable. Among the group indicators, the business group rose the most at 2.83 percent. Similarly, banking 0.21, development bank 0.74, finance 0.22, hydropower 0.06, production and processing 0.12, microfinance 0.15, non-life insurance 0.16 and other groups have gone up by 0.03 percent.
On the other hand, the investment group decreased by 0.54 percent, hotels and tourism decreased by 0.62 percent and the life insurance group decreased by 0.46 percent. Today, the share price of four companies increased by 10 percent. Solu Hydropower, Salpa Development Bank and Hotel Forest Inn are among the companies that will grow by 10 percent. The shares of Solu Hydropower started trading in the secondary market from Sunday. Similarly, the share price of Greenlife Hydropower has increased by 9.53 percent and Abhiyan Laghubitta by 5.31 percent.
