Kathmandu. Biratnagar Kings and Chitwan Rhinos are facing today under the second edition of Nepal Premier League NPL. Today, Biratnagar Kings and Chitwan Rhinos are going to compete in a match that will start at 4 pm on Wednesday at the Trivi Cricket Ground, Kirtipur. The captain of Biratnagar is Sandeep Lamichhane while the captain of Chitwan is Kushal Malla. After playing three games, Biratnagar has scored 6 points by winning consecutively. Chitwan has only two points after playing only two games.
Biratnagar has yet to face defeat. Although Biratnagar and Sudurpaschim have the same points in the points table, Biratnagar is second on the basis of run rate. Chitwan is at the fifth position in the table. Chitwan won by four wickets against Karnali in the first match and lost to Lumbini by 6 wickets in the second match.
Eight franchise teams are competing in NPL namely Janakpur Bolts, Sudurpaschim Royals, Karnali Yaks, Pokhara Avengers, Biratnagar Kings, Chitwan Rhinos, Kathmandu Gorkhaz and Lumbini Lions.
