Kathmandu. Lumbini Lions won by 3 wickets in the first match of the 2nd Nepal Premier League NPL today. Lumbini Lions scored 151 runs for the loss of 7 wickets in 19.4 overs in the first match at Trivi Ground on Saturday. After losing the toss and being invited to bat, Pokhara scored 150 runs after losing 5 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs.
This is the fourth game for Pokhara. He has lost 2 and won 1. It is Lumbini's fifth match, he also won only 1 match and lost consecutively in the remaining 3 matches. So both teams need a win.
