Kathmandu. Former champions Chennai Super Kings maintained their unbeaten run in the Indian Premier League 9 IPL 2026 and registered their second consecutive victory. Tuesday night home ground MA. Chennai stunned Kolkata Knight Riders by 32 runs in a thrilling match at the Chidambaram Stadium.
After losing the strong batting toss of Chennai, Chennai was invited to bat first and lost 5 wickets in the scheduled 20 overs and made a challenging total of 192 runs. Middle-order batsman Sanju Samson contributed the most for Chennai with 48 runs. He hit 4 fours and 3 sixes in just 32 balls. Although Karthik Tyagi took 2 wickets for Kolkata, he could not control Chennai's run rate.
