Novelist Rajkumar Rai established 22 libraries
Kathmandu. Novelist Rajkumar Rai has established 22 libraries. 1,300 books worth about 170,000 have been donated by activist novelist Rajkumar Rai for the library of Sitalpati toll organization Sankhuwasabha. Inaugurating the library, Rajkumar Rai said that in Nepal, large buildings of development committees have been constructed in villages and towns in Nepal, but they have not been properly utilized. He said that libraries have been established in educational institutions, now there is a plan to establish libraries in prisons and village development committees as well.
