"Not position, responsibility is priority" - Kulman Ghising's frank words

Kathmandu. Bright Nepal Party chairman and former minister Kulman Ghising has publicly expressed his views on the question raised regarding his participation in the government. After leaving the government, when various comments started coming, he claimed that he had taken a clear stand from the beginning.

According to the opinion made public through social media, Ghising had made it clear to the Prime Minister that his participation may not be long-term as this is a non-party government before entering the government. Mentioning that he openly thought of going into active politics in the future, he said that he accepted the responsibility only because of the current situation.

According to him, the state structure was in a weak state at that time and it was not possible to refuse the Prime Minister's request as there was also pressure from the participants of the Gen-G movement. Ghisingh says that he joined the government with the agreement that he can resign from his post and join politics if necessary.

Ghising has made it clear that he is not infatuated with the position, saying that his resignation from the post of minister was also in accordance with public sentiment. "I myself resigned after the political question, I am not a coward," he said. Ghising has claimed that his intention and commitment will be confirmed by the performance of handling the responsibilities of the three ministries. He stated that fulfilling the responsibility given by the state is his priority and indicated that he will respond to criticism through work.
