No need to fill in the form to end the hassle of creating a national identity card
Kathmandu. The Ministry of Home Affairs has implemented a system to eliminate the hassle of registering preliminary details for making a national identity card. Now the service users can give their biometric details without having to fill a separate application form. According to the ministry, this facility has been started with the establishment of service interconnection between the centralized citizenship management information system and the national identity management information system. It is believed that this will put an end to the situation of having to complete separate procedures in different agencies for details of the same nature.
On Sunday, Omprakash Aryal visited the district administration office Lalitpur and inspected the new arrangement. During the inspection, he said that the policy of providing convenient services to citizens has been gradually removed from the duplication seen in public services.
