Night business closed in Kathmandu from 18th

Kathmandu. Night business has been banned in Kathmandu from February 18th after 9 pm. District Administration Office Kathmandu has banned night business operations in view of the election of members of the House of Representatives to be held on February 21. The notice signed by District Administration Office Spokesman and Assistant Chief District Officer Muktiram Rizal said, 'In view of election security, all night businesses operating in Kathmandu district will be operated only till 9 pm from February 18 till further decision and then this notification has been published for the information of stakeholders to close all businesses.'
The decision was made keeping in mind the security sensitivity of the election in the notice issued by the District Administration Office Kathmandu. Along with this, all night businesses including hotels and restaurants operating at night in Kathmandu will be allowed to operate till 9 pm until further notice. This rule will be applicable from 18th of February.
