New interest rates of commercial banks for the month of November announced, who reduced how much?

According to the published information, 10 out of 20 commercial banks have reduced the maximum interest rate of personal term deposits, while 10 banks have continued the interest rate of the month of October. NIC Asia, Siddharth, Himalayan, Standard Chartered, Prime Commercial, Citizens, Nabil, Nepal SBI, Sanima and Kumari Bank have reduced the maximum interest rate of deposits for the month of November. The remaining 10 banks have continued the interest rate of the month of October.

Bank NIC Asia has the highest interest rate reduction for the month of November. The bank has reduced the interest rate by 0.75 percent compared to November. In the month of November, NIC Asia is going to give interest at a maximum rate of 5.75 percent on personal term deposits. The bank has reduced the maximum interest rate of institutional term deposits. In the month of November, Global IME Bank will give maximum interest of up to 6 percent on personal term deposits. Similarly, the lowest interest rate is Standard Chartered Bank, which will give a maximum of 4.7 percent interest.

The maximum average interest rate of individual term deposits has decreased by 0.16 percent in the month of November compared to the month of November. In October, banks gave interest at an average rate of 5.20 percent, but in November, it fell to 5.04 percent. Similarly, the interest rate of institutional term deposits has been reduced by 0.07 percent during the review period.
