Kathmandu. The deadly Nipah virus has emerged as a serious challenge to public health in neighboring India's West Bengal. Although this virus has been confirmed in the neighboring country of West Bengal in India, doctors say that there is a high risk of it in Nepal as well. The spokesperson of the Ministry of Health and Population, Dr. Prakash Budhathoki, informed that the risk of bats, bangurs and other animals are also in Nepal.
