Kathmandu. President Ramchandra Paudel has wished that the Tihar festival will encourage Nepalese to further enhance the spirit of mutual harmony, tolerance, brotherhood, good governance and prosperity. On the occasion of Tihar, he issued a message today to Nepalis at home and abroad, wishing them happiness, peace, prosperity and progressive progress. "Nepal is a country rich in original culture. The various festivals we celebrate have been working to unite diversity. Among such festivals, Tihar is the great festival of Hindus. This festival has tried to bind different castes, languages and cultures in a formula of unity", the President said in the message.
President Paudel has mentioned that the Tihar festival, which has cultural, mythological, practical, psychological and scientific significance, is also a festival of light and light. He wished that the various cultural practices manifested through Tihar could shed light on human life and inspire us all to continue on the path of truth, justice and social governance.
