National Life earned a profit of 148 million rupees in the first quarter, insurance fund close to 1 billion

Kathmandu. National Life Insurance Company Limited has earned a net profit of Rs 148 million in the first quarter of the current financial year. The company's net profit has increased by 1.81 percent compared to Rs. 138.3 million earned in the first quarter of last year.

Similarly, during the review period, the net insurance fee earned by the company increased by almost 14 percent to 5.52 billion 94 million rupees compared to 4.85 billion 11 million rupees in the current year. As of the end of October of last year, the life insurance fund of the company was 75 billion 741 million rupees, and in the same period of the current year, it has increased by 24.72 percent to 93 billion 63 million 52 million rupees.

On the other hand, the total income of the company increased by 9.23 percent from 6.69 billion 36 million rupees to 7.31 billion 14 million rupees, while the total expenses also increased by 10.58 percent from 6.3 billion 30 million rupees to 6.96 billion 91 million rupees. This company has given a commission of 426 million rupees to its agents in the last three months of the current year, which has increased by almost 12 percent to 477 million rupees in the three months of the current year.

The earnings per share of the company has decreased by 36 paise to Rs 10.30. Last year, the company's earnings per share was Rs 10.66. The net worth per share of the company is Rs 131.54. The paid up capital of this company is 5 billion 47 crore 27 lakh rupees, the share premium of this company is 2 crore 78 lakh rupees, 68 crore 13 lakh rupees in disaster fund and 638 crore rupees in reserve fund.
