National Assembly election schedule published, nomination registration on 23 December
Kathmandu. The Election Commission has published the schedule for the election of members of the National Assembly. On Sunday, the Commission published the agenda. The commission said that the nominations can be registered on January 23. The election of members of the National Assembly will be held on January 1. According to the approved election program, the voter list will be published on January 19th from 10:00 am to 11:00 am, and the final voter list will be published on January 22nd from 3:00 am to 4:00 pm after investigating the claims and complaints on the voter list.
Similarly, on January 23rd, from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm, candidates will register their nomination papers, on January 24th, from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm, to file complaints against candidates, on January 27th, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm, candidates will withdraw their names, and from 1:00 pm to 2:00 pm, the final list of candidates will be published.
According to the commission, the election symbols will be provided to the candidates from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm on January 28th from the office of the relevant election officer. Voting will be held on January 11th from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm at the respective polling station.
