Nagadhunga-Sisnekhola tunnel will be opened for public by July
Kathmandu. The road department is going to open the Nagdhunga Sisnekhola tunnel to the public within the month of July. Currently, the tunnel is used only for emergency and emergency vehicles.
According to E. Shubraj Newpane, spokesperson and deputy director general of the road department, final safety tests are being conducted on the tunnel before it is opened to the general public and public transport. If there is an emergency situation inside the tunnel, a safety exercise will be conducted on how to rescue the passengers.
