Biratnagar. The murder case of 33-year-old Saroj Sharma of Shivshatakshi Municipality-10 of Jhapa is becoming mysterious. Based on the preliminary investigation, it has been revealed that the murder was planned with the lure of gold trading. The police arrested two people involved in the incident and released it to the public on Sunday.

First meeting and planning
Saroj Sharma, who was living in Kathmandu, met 27-year-old Sunil Saha from Jhapa. Sharma used to talk about getting cheap gold and buying it himself, as well as buying it from acquaintances in Kathmandu. Lured by this, Sunil and his nephew, 23-year-old Rahul Sah, are said to have prepared a plan to steal the money from Sharma.

Kidnapping on the pretext of showing gold
On October 9, Sunil called Saroj Sharma on the pretext of showing the gold he had brought from India. Then they went to Dahijhoda Community Forest under Arjundhara Municipality-4. According to the police, when the three reached this place, there was a dispute on the pretext of showing gold and that's when Sunil and Rahul attacked Sharma in a planned manner.

Brutal mode of murder
According to the police investigation, they killed Saroj by hitting him on the head with a hammer in his hand. Then, in order to hide the body, they put Sharma's vehicle in the vehicle number Ba.P.01 (30 Ch 7194) and buried it under the bridge of Biring Khola at Hulaki Marg, Jhapa Rural Municipality-5.
