Chitwan. The Muglin-Narayangadh road section has been completely blocked due to landslides caused by continuous rain. District Administration Office Chitwan has issued a notice not to drive vehicles on that road section for the time being saying that the current condition of the road is extremely dangerous. According to Road Division Bharatpur, stones are continuously falling from above in the Tuin River under the road section, while in Seti Dobhan area, the road has been blocked in both directions due to the landslides.

Heavy rains in the area since 7:30 pm on Monday have added challenges to the efforts to open the road. Ishwar Chhetri, supervisor of road division Bharatpur, informed that there is difficulty in removing the landslides due to non-stop rains.
