Monsoon was supposed to leave today on average, but it is expected to take a few more days
16 October, Kathmandu. The average date of departure of monsoon from Nepal is today, October 2nd i.e. October 16th. But because it is an average date, it does not mean that the monsoon starts on the same day every year. Depending on the weather conditions, the monsoon starts a few days earlier or later. This year, it is seen that the monsoon will leave Nepal a little later than the average time. According to Meteorologist Sanjeev Adhikari of the Weather Forecast Division, there is no possibility of issuing a formal bulletin regarding the withdrawal of monsoon immediately.
According to him, it will be possible to announce that the monsoon has left West Nepal within a day or two. After that, the monsoon will gradually disappear from other areas as well. Monsoon does not leave Nepal all at once. The exodus, which starts from the western part, gradually moves towards the east and completely exits the country through Kosi province. Meteorological officials have said that it will take a few days.
