Monsoon rains continue across the country: Chance of heavy rains in four states, urge to be cautious

Kathmandu. As the influence of Monsoon winds continues across the country, there is a possibility of rain in most places, according to the Water and Weather Forecasting Division. At present, moderate rains with thunder and lightning are occurring in some places of Bagmati, Kosi and Lumbini regions.
According to the division, it will be generally cloudy over the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at many places in hilly and Himalayan regions of the country and some places in Terai. Also, there is a forecast of snowfall in some places in the high Himalayan region.
Tonight will also be partly to mostly cloudy across the country. Light to moderate rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning is expected at some places of Kosi, Bagmati and Gandaki regions as well as Karnali, Sudurpaschim and Lumbini regions. There is a possibility of rain in some places of hilly and terai region.
