Monsoon activity active across the country, heavy rain likely in four states

Kathmandu. Rain activity is likely to increase as the influence of monsoon winds continues across the country. According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, Weather Forecasting Division, the Monsoon low pressure line is currently around Sardar place.
Currently, it is generally cloudy across the country. According to the division, there is light to moderate rain with thunder and lightning at a few places in Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces and one or two places in Koshi, Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces.
According to the department, there is a possibility of heavy rain at one or two places in the hilly areas of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces. It is estimated that moderate rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning may occur in some places in the mountainous and hilly areas of the country.
