Minister Yadav's instructions to immediately arrange the necessary vehicles to facilitate the distribution of medicine
Kathmandu. Industry, Commerce and Supply Minister Gauri Kumari Yadav, while monitoring Nepal Aushadhi Limited, said that the government is committed to the organization's production capacity, current situation and solutions to the problems encountered.
Minister Yadav who reached the office of Nepal Aushadhi Limited at Babarmahal was accompanied by Ministry Secretary Narayan Prasad Sharma Duwadi and other high officials. During the monitoring, Kailash Paneru, General Manager of the Limited, gave information about the progress and challenges of the organization while observing the various production rooms where essential medicines are being produced.
General Manager Paneru informed that the Limited is currently producing 25 types of essential drugs and said that there is a lack of vehicles to distribute the produced drugs across the country. According to him, after the vehicles used for the transportation of medicines were burnt during the people's movement, the distribution is being affected as new vehicles could not be arranged.
