Matrika Pokharel's story collection 'Ma Bhi Nidra Laganen' released
Kathmandu. Writer Matrika Pokharel's new story collection 'Malai Phi Nidra Lagen' has been released at a special event held in Kathmandu on Friday. Senior writer Nagendraraj Sharma was the chief guest in the event, President of Nepal Srasht Samaj Om Shrestha 'Rodan', critic Dr. Hari Silwal and Mohan Duwal, president of Nepal Literary Journalists Association jointly launched the work.
While announcing the collection of stories, the speakers mentioned that Pokharel's stories powerfully expressed the feelings, experiences and human psychology of the contemporary society. Making the program literary meaningful, 'Amar Jyoti Literary Journalism Special' was also announced on the same occasion.
In the program, writer Pokharel discussed the creation process of his stories and the mood of the work. Similarly, Tularam Giri, Deputy Executive Director of Nepal Electricity Authority, expressed his opinion about the role of Amarjyoti Literary Quarterly and the importance of literary journalism.
The program was completed with significant participation of writers, journalists and literature lovers.
