Master's degree should be mandatory for forensic experts: Minister Mahavir Pun
Kathmandu. Science, Technology and Innovation Minister Mahavir Pun has said that the minimum educational qualification of experts working in a sensitive field like forensic science should be a master's degree.
In the meeting of the Education, Health and Information Technology Committee of the House of Representatives, he pointed out the need to train forensic manpower from specialized and recognized institutions and to make the changing crime investigation more effective, digital evidence should also be legally recognized.
