Kathmandu. Madan Bhandari Foundation has decided to award 'Madan Bhandari National Award-2082' to writer and scholar Ramesh Ruchen Rai. Rai's investigative work 'The Life of Shwetshardul Madan Bhandari' has been selected for this year's award, the foundation said. The foundation has been awarding the award every year with the aim of promoting the personality, ideas, political contribution of public leader Madan Kumar Bhandari and the study, research, publication and ideological debate related to him.

According to the foundation, on the occasion of the 75th birth anniversary of public leader Madan Bhandari, there is a policy to reward individuals or organizations who have made a significant contribution to the documentation and dissemination of his personality, thoughts, political life and contributions through study, research, writing memoirs and publishing books.
