Prajna Pratishthan was held in a grand manner in Devkota Assembly Hall.
• Chancellor of Pragya-Pratishthan Bhupal Rai inaugurated the program by reciting the banner
He is accused of being a Marxist when he works about the mother tongue. If development of mother tongue in an inclusive manner is called Marxist then I am proud to be a Marxist. Stating that Pragya-Pratishthan is able to develop the mother tongue in an inclusive manner, he said that constitutionally it is everyone's responsibility to protect and promote all the 124 mother tongues of Nepal. In addition, he said that he is confident that important work will be done in the field of mother tongue as the current government is close to two-thirds. Earlier it was called 'Chomolunga' in Kirat language and 'Jyomolangma' in Sherpa language. But later why was it named Everest? This has raised a serious question. What would have been damaged by widening the name Chomolungma or Jyomolangma? Did its height decrease? In this way, linguistic and cultural encroachment in history has increased concern and interest.
• Member Secretary of Pragya-Pratishthan Dr. Dhanprasad Subedi was of the opinion that despite the lack of sufficient budget, whatever work has been done in the mother tongue is worth remembering.
• Rajan Mukarung, a member of Pragya-Pratishthan's academic council and head of literature and mother tongue department, chairman of the program, Rajan Mukarung, discussed the new awakening in the field of mother tongue after the launch of mother tongue literature series by Pragya-Pratishthan, and what effect has there been on the content of mother tongue textbooks. He emphasized that such textbooks should be according to the beauty of each tribal tribe.
•Professor Kiran Kumar Baram presented a paper on 'Baram Community's Folklore' and Padam Rana on 'Present Status of Ranatharu Literature' in the program.
Pragya-Pratishthan published the Sherpa language magazine 'Jyomolangma' for the first time in its history of 68 years.
In each program, three poets of different mother tongue recite poems. This time, Bhojpuri poet Ritesh Tripathi, Athpahariya poet Vimala Rai, Achhami poet Pradeep Jaisi recited poems in their mother tongue.
Dava Sherpa (D.N.), the executive editor of the Sherpa language, gave a critical comment on the newspaper that was made public. Lakpa Thinel Sherpa, the president of the Sherpa association, presented a meal to the chancellor Rai and professor Rajan Mukarung as a token of respect, and Balkrishna Chapagain, the former president of the RAS, presented a gift of books for Pragya library.
