Let no mother's arms cry now: Prime Minister Karki
Kathmandu. Prime Minister Sushila Karki said that due to the courage, consciousness and determination of the martyrs, today the country stands at a historical stage of change.
On the occasion of Martyr's Day, he expressed his heartfelt respect to all the martyrs who gave their precious lives for civil freedom and democracy in the greeting message issued today.
The message says, "Due to their courage, awareness and determination, the country is standing at a historic stage of change today, so that no mother's arms should be torn apart again. Salute to the brave warriors who supported the Genji movement, which arose in the hope of justice, equality, responsible governance and a bright future."
In her message, Prime Minister Karki emphasized that the responsibility of building a state based on government values, ethics and respect for citizens should always remain in the memory of every ruler.
