Launch of Trishit Man' Haiku / Senyu Collection
Kathmandu. Haiku and Senyu, the shortest form of poetry, are very popular in Nepali literature. Due to the impact of brevity and quality of haiku and senyu, hundreds of haiku writers and some senyu writers are appearing in Nepali literature. At the same time, 66-year-old Pradeep KC (Sanjel) of Kathmandu has published 'Thirshit Man' Haiku / Senyu Sangraha.
The chief guest of the program is the outgoing academic council member of Nepal Pragya Institute, senior critic and poet Dr. Madhusudan Giri while launching 'Trishit Man' Haiku / Senyu collection emphasized to compose Haiku and Senyu in a simple and easy way rather than intellectual inertia. Expressing the idea that haiku composition is a philosophy of life that looks at nature, Nepali originality, soil and the fragrance of society should come in it.
Chetanath Dhamala, a special guest, outgoing member of the academic council of Nepal Pragya-Pratishthan, central president of Nepal Haiku Association and author of 'Trishit Man' haiku / senyu collection, explained about the structure and creativity of the smallest haiku and senyu, and shed light on the creativity of haiku writer Pradeep KC.
Guest trio Sudhir Khwabi, Nepalese poet and coordinator of S: Dabu Sahitya Lalitpur, Srijana Sarovar, Central Councilor of Prales and former Brigadier General Ramchandra Khatri expressed their best wishes. Pradeep KC, the creator of 'Thirshit Man' haiku/senyu collection, said that he created it by imbibing nature and religious cultural aspects. KC was also honored by well-wishers.
The program was completed under the chairmanship of Pratibha Bista, publisher of the collection, central member of Human Rights and Single Women's Group. The program was organized by Airavati Publications at the Quality Durbar Restaurant at Swayambhu Karkanchowk. The president of the publication and poet Ramdev Pandey conducted the program in an attractive manner.
