Labor Culture Party elected proportionally 4 MPs
Dharan. The Labor Culture Party has finalized the names of four members of parliament on the proportional side of the House of Representatives. The party meeting held today in Dharan decided the names of the MPs to be elected under the proportional system and recommended them to the Election Commission. According to party president Hark Sampang, the candidates have been chosen by ensuring the representation of various inclusive groups.
He informed that Purnaprasad Limbu from tribal group, Ambikadevi Sangraula from Khas Arya, Radhika Ramtel from Dalit community and Ruvikumari Thakur from Madhesi community have been recommended for proportional parliamentarians.
The party said that the names of the candidates have been selected on the basis of constitution, qualification and ability and have been sent to the Election Commission. In the recently concluded House of Representatives elections, the Shram Culture Party won 3 seats on the direct side and 4 seats on the proportional side, making a significant presence in the Federal Parliament.
