KIEC's assistance of Rs 15,55,555 for flood-affected
The Kathmandu. KIEC has contributed Rs.15,55,555 to the Prime Minister's Disaster Relief Fund for the relief of people affected by floods and landslides in different parts of the country, including Bhotekoshi area. The amount collected from the joint initiative and contribution of the branches across the country, including the head office of KIEC, has been transferred to the rescue fund.
Along with the cash assistance, KIEC has been conducting blood donation programs for the affected citizens as well as collecting essential relief materials and sending them to the affected areas through the relevant agencies. KIEC has said that it will continue to help meet the immediate needs of the affected citizens in view of the food shortage and increased health risks due to the disaster.
KIEC pays tribute to those who lost their lives in the floods and floods and wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured and the safe rehabilitation of the homeless families. It also expressed respect for the security personnel, health workers, volunteers and local communities engaged in rescue and relief, and called on all to cooperate to the best of their ability in dealing with the disaster.
