Main News Image

Kathmandu. Kathmandu Metropolitan City is going to conduct small doctor program in schools to promote healthy health education among children. Sunita Dangol, Acting Head of the Metropolitan Municipality, informed that it will be started through a sample program in four community schools. Acting Chief Dangol noted that this method is suitable for enhancing health awareness and co-learning among children.

She said, "When taking the program to schools, it should not be taken in such a way that the implementers feel a burden." If necessary, the readiness to go into implementation should be awakened. And only the program is sustainable and effective. Its results are slow. However, it is positive," she added, adding, "We should make it successful in community schools and expand it to institutional schools as well.
