Kathmandu. Air pollution in Kathmandu Valley has reached an unhealthy level today. According to the 'Air Quality Index', which measures air quality, the air pollution in Kathmandu Valley has reached 175 acu by noon today. Today, Kathmandu is listed as the seventh most polluted city in the world.

At that time, the world's most polluted city is Cairo, Egypt, where air pollution is measured at 273 acu.

According to the Director General of Environment Department, Gyanraj Subedi, air pollution has increased due to dry weather, lack of wind, operation of industries and factories and rapid development.
