Iran claims that negotiations for a final deal with the US have not yet begun

Kathmandu. Iran has claimed that formal talks on a final peace deal with the US, including its nuclear program, have not yet begun. Spokesman of Iran's Foreign Ministry, Ismail Baghai, told state broadcaster IRIB that negotiations will not begin until the necessary preconditions for a final agreement are met.

He said, "We have not yet entered the stage of negotiations for the final agreement," he said. According to Baghai, according to Article 13 of the Memorandum of Understanding, there is a provision that the implementation of Articles 1, 4, 5, 10 and 11 should be started and continued continuously before starting negotiations on the final agreement.
