Integrated Election Security Scheme-2082 approved for elections

Kathmandu. Integrated Election Security Plan-2082 has been approved for the House of Representatives elections announced on February 21. The meeting with all the four security agencies held on Sunday under the chairmanship of the Home Minister decided to approve the Integrated Election Security Plan-2082. According to Anand Kafle, spokesperson of the Ministry of Home Affairs, the meeting also decided on the deployment of the Nepali Army as per the proposal of the Integrated Election Security Plan-2082. It has been decided that he will recommend to the National Security Council for the mobilization of the Nepali Army and for that he will send a written letter to the Ministry of Defense.

He said, "Integrated Election Security Plan-2082 with various action plans has been approved and it will be gradually implemented accordingly." The Integrated Election Security Plan-2082 has proposed the deployment of the Nepali Army. According to that, it is to be sent in writing to the Ministry of Defense for the purpose of recommending to the National Security Council to deploy the Nepali Army.

He also said that a state-level security conference will be conducted from Lumbini province on November 9.
