Kathmandu. On the occasion of Mahashivratri and the 263rd Army Day, Commander-in-Chief Ashok Raj Sigdel has addressed the ranks of the Nepalese Army and expressed his best wishes to the serving and retired ranks of the army, the civil servants working in the army and their families. During the speech, the Commander-in-Chief instructed to study and teach the history of Nepal and Nepali in all military trainings to recognize, glorify and learn from the lessons of history.

Besides, the Nepali Army has given special instructions to ensure the peaceful completion of the upcoming elections while fulfilling the responsibilities it has been performing in various areas in an excellent manner. Earlier today, in honor of the soldiers who laid down their lives in the line of duty in various programs organized today, the Commander-in-Chief paid homage at the Veer Smarak and Sainik Manch in Tundikhel. In the same way, the Chief of Army Staff also honored the family members of the martyred soldiers in a program organized at the Veer Smarak located in the cantonment.
