In the February 21 election, armed police will be deployed in the second circle

Kathmandu. Armed Police Force Nepal has prepared to coordinate with other security agencies to conduct the upcoming House of Representatives elections in a transparent, fair and fear-free environment.  According to the policy of providing reliable security system to make the upcoming general election on February 21 successful, preparations are being made to operate in accordance with the 'House of Representatives Election Integrated Security Plan, 2082', according to the Armed Police. 


For that purpose, the Armed Police has formulated and implemented the 'Armed Police Force Nepal's Operational Policy for the Security Work of the House of Representatives Election 2082'. Armed Police Spokesperson and Deputy Inspector General of Armed Police Manish Thapa informed that preparations are being made to ensure maximum utilization of available resources and means to carry out the responsibilities assigned by the government in a flawless manner according to the Integrated Election Security Plan.
 
 In a press conference held today at the head office, Halchok, he said that the constituencies will be classified into highly sensitive, sensitive and normal based on the security challenges and will be mobilized under the assigned responsibilities. The armed police will be conducted in coordination with other security agencies in the second circle of security for election security.
