Biratnagar. The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority has arrested three persons in connection with bribery related to building construction in Dhankuta and Bhojpur districts. According to the authority, engineer Suman Rai, accounting officer Indra Bahadur Karki and sub-engineer Ravin Shrestha working in the intensive urban and building construction project, Dhankuta, obstructed the final bill payment process of the school building in Bhojpur and took a bribe of 85,000 rupees from the customer.
The Commission team has detained Suman Rai from Lalitpur and Karki and Shrestha from Itahari, Dhankuta and Bhojpur along with necessary documents and mobile phones. Assistant Spokesperson of the Authority, Ganesh Bahadur Adhikari, informed that further investigations are going on against them.
