In Jhapa-5, Ranjit Tamang, the former president of All Revolutionary Party, will face Oli from CPN

Kathmandu. Ranjit Tamang is going to be a candidate for Jhapa Constituency No. 5 from the Nepali Communist Party CPN in the House of Representatives election to be held on February 21. CPN coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal 'Prachanda' has given ticket to Tamang, the former chairman of Akhil Krantikari, to contest the election from Jhapa-5.

Tamang has also appealed to CPN coordinator Pushpa Kamal Dahal to vote for him, informing that he has received a ticket from 'Prachand'.

By issuing a message on Saturday, he said, "The coordinator of the Nepali Communist Party, honorable leader A. Prachanda has granted election permission for the upcoming February 21st with good wishes. With gratitude to the leaders, I make a special appeal to the voters of Jhapa area no.

Tamang is the former president of Akhil Krantikari, a student organization close to CPN. Jhapa (5) is the home constituency of CPN-UML President KP Sharma Oli.
