Impact of western low pressure system on weather - Chance of rain and snow in these places

Kathmandu. According to the Weather Forecast Division, the western low pressure system is currently influencing the country. In addition, some places in the Terai have been affected. In some places of Kathmandu, rain has sprinkled in the morning. The Himalayan parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces will be generally cloudy, while the remaining parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces including Madhesh province will be partly cloudy in the Himalayan and hilly parts of other provinces. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan parts of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
Similary, it will be cold in some places of Terai tonight. There will be partial change in Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while the weather will remain mainly clear in the rest of the provinces. There is a possibility of light rain and snowfall at one or two places in the high hills and Himalayan parts of Koshi Province.
The division has requested the residents of the areas where there is forecast to be windy and cold and snowfall and everyone concerned to be careful in their daily activities including the operation of transport vehicles in those areas.
