Impact of western low pressure system: Chance of rain and snowfall in hilly and Himalayan areas

Kathmandu. Currently, due to the combined effect of western low pressure system and local air in Nepal, there has been a change in the weather throughout the country.
According to the Department of Water and Meteorology, it is generally cloudy in the hilly and mountainous regions of the country, including Koshi, Madhesh, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, while there is light rain in some places of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces.
There is a possibility of moderate rain and snowfall with thunder and lightning in some places of Koshi, Bagmati and Gandaki provinces and other hilly areas including Madhesh province on Wednesday afternoon.
