Impact of Middle East tension: 16 international flights canceled from Kathmandu

Kathmandu. Nepal's international air connectivity has been affected after the US and Israel's attack on Iran and Iran's countermeasures. According to the Tribhuvan International Airport office, 16 scheduled international flights have been canceled on Monday. The canceled flights include Jazeera Airways, Kuwait Airways, Air Arabia, Fly Dubai, Nepal Airlines, Qatar Airways and Himalaya Airlines.
On Monday, Jazeera's Kuwait-Kathmandu-Kuwait and Kuwait Airways' Kuwait-Kathmandu-Kuwait flights were cancelled, according to the airport office. Regular passenger flights at Sarjahan, Dubai and Doha airports have been affected. According to the office, the airspace of Qatar, United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Iran, Iraq, Israel, Jordan, Lebanon and Bahrain is closed. The airport has said that it is coordinating with related airline companies and agencies to facilitate passenger management.
